NZ SKA Forum 2019 – Science for SKA Colloquium and Computing for SKA Colloquium

We look forward to welcoming you to Auckland University of Technology (AUT) for the New Zealand SKA Forum 2019. This forum focuses on the science and computing challenges presented by the Square Kilometre Array (SKA), one of the 21st century’s biggest and most ambitious projects.  AUT has a long tradition of hosting SKA related events going back to 2005.  This time it will be the 6th SKA Forum conducted in New Zealand. Mid-Year-Mini C4SKA Colloquium – 12 July 2018

The New Zealand SKA team welcomed 50 participants to share in the excitement of the New Zealand team at their Mid-Year-Mini Public Seminar on Thursday 12 July 2018, from 1:00pm to 5:30pm. AUT University, Building WG, Room 404, Mayoral Drive, between Wakefield Street and Wellesley Street East, Auckland. MiniZed SpeedWay Design Workshops August 2018

Postponed to August 2018. NZA is hosting the MiniZed SpeedWay Design Workshops™ run by Avnet with 4 one-day courses. The MiniZed SpeedWay Design Workshops™ help engineers jump start the development of Xilinx All Programmable SoC products. The courses revolves around the single-core Xilinx® Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC device, though the training can be utilised across all Xilinx SoCs. The targeted board is the Avnet MiniZed™ Zynq SoC development board, a cost optimized prototyping platform perfect for embedded vision and Industrial IoT systems.
